Electronics & Styrofoam Recycling

Scotch Plains residents (i.d. required) can drop off e-waste and Styrofoam at the Scotch Plains DPW, located at 2445 Plainfield Avenue on Thursdays between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

* Please note: The DPW location for e-waste and Styrofoam recycling dropoffs will be from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 31 in observance of New Year's Eve.

Covered electronics include: Computers, Fax Machines, Monitors, Printers, Televisions.

Styrofoam -- Only white clean foam and block form foam, such as that used for furniture and appliance packaging is accepted. Unacceptable items include all food service items, packing "peanuts", egg cartons and any dark colored, wet or dirty foam.
